Yesterday, I got my free Target Beauty Box, so I thought I’d share the contents. While it’s not nearly as exciting as a Birchbox, getting free samples and a cute cosmetic bag in the mail was definitely fun! I just signed up on Facebook and it came a few weeks later (it says 6 to 8 weeks, but mine only took about 3).
It came in a cute little box straight in the mailbox. It was a little bigger than I expected, about 5” by 8″ by 1.5″.
Inside, I pulled out an adorable cosmetic bag! This alone is worth signing up for – it’s a great size to throw in your purse to keep things from floating around. I may even change out my current bag for this one since it’s so bright and colorful.
In the front, there was a sample of Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait – coincidentally, a perfect color for me, and a large book of Target coupons (which means that you can STACK them with manufacturer’s coupons! Sweet!)
In the back, there was a small bottle of Trèsemmé Split Remedy shampoo and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 70 Dry-Touch Sunblock. I’m kind of disappointed that they didn’t include conditioner to go with the shampoo because that’s usually what gets me to buy a new product, but we’ll see how it does with my Trèsemmé Keratin conditioner. There were also packet samples of Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo and conditioner, and Aveeno Living Color shampoo and conditioner, but I don’t need to worry about color enhancing shampoo, so I’ll probably give those away (my highlights are naturally changing this time of year anyway since I’m still holding on to those last vestiges of blonde).

Yeah, the coupons were pretty sweet and covered a wider range of products than just the ones in the kit. They were almost all worth $1 or more.
