Pinterest: Pin a whole page or a quote!

April 19, 2012

I’m back with another Pinterest tip!

Ever wanted to pin an awesome website to bookmark it but Pinterest couldn’t find any valid images to use? I hate using bookmarks now that I’ve been using Pinterest for almost a solid year, so I was grateful to find this site, Snapito, that allows you to grab a screen shot of whatever page you are on. Drag the Pin Page button up next to your normal Pin it button and you have a solution!

Another great site is Pin A Quote which works exactly as the name suggests. Just highlight the text you want to pin and Pin A Quote will make it happen. The best part? They’ll change it to a quote poster (like the ones you see all over) yet still retain the link to the original quote location.

Happy Pinning!
